IBM gets back into broadband over power line business

Wow...IBM is doing this as well? I am sure they know what they are doing.

Big Blue throws weight behind rural broadband system

IBM is once again planning to set up a broadband over power line (BPL) system in the US.

The company said on Wednesday that it would be installing a BPL system which will serve several ISP companies in the eastern part of the US. Once installed, the networks will be administrated by telco firm IBEC.
