Tethering is not new and useful tool to access the net

The word Tethering is not new and it is increasing important part of accessing the Internet from your Netbooks, Notebooks, and/or PCs via smart phones like Android based HTC G1, G2; and Nokia phones, and most of the Windows based systems. Tethering works by connecting a device that can access the Internet to another device that cannot. This can be done through Bluetooth wireless technology or WiFi, USB, GPRS, EDGE, CMDA, 3G, and etc.

I found Proxiod very easy to setup and configure over the USB connection fast and reliable.
