Khmer on Android 1.5
Recently I has a chance to work with a Khmer friend, Danh Hong, to see if Khmer is supported in Android 1.5. We installed Khmer Opentype font and modified the
syste
m to accept the new font. Voila it works as shown here. However there were some issues with Khmer displays such as positions of characters and that vowels were not display correctly. These issues shall be fixed by the Android team where they need to patch the rendering engine of the Android.
